Since Colonial Fence was founded in Massachusetts in 1974, our family has been committed to installing and manufacturing fence that is truly superior to others on the market. We are proud to say that this tradition is alive today as it was half a century ago. We’ve evolved alongside our industry and the needs of consumers by implementing innovations in fence installation, fence design and fence manufacturing — without sacrificing the quality, value or customer experience that we’ve built our reputation on.
Our immediate fence installation service area includes select areas of Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Cape Cod and the Islands. If you’re located outside of our immediate service area, we’re often able to provide you with a referral to a Certified Fence Installation Contractor.

Over the 1980’s, our team at Colonial Fence continued to raise the bar within the fencing industry. We became even more specialized in custom cedar fence products and supplies, installation techniques and designs.
Though vinyl fencing options existed in the 1980’s and 90’s, they simply did not meet our standards — so we started making our own. In 2001, we launched our first premium vinyl fence components, garden accessories, outdoor products and landscaping accents.
This line was so well received, expansion was eminent. In 2004 we opened our state-of-the-art 18,000 sq. ft. facility on six acres in Norfolk, Massachusetts. This location is still home to our manufacturing operation as well as our showroom of displays. We invite you to visit and inspect our craftsmanship firsthand.
